Fictional Worlds: Lunathion aka Crescent City

Fictional Worlds: Lunathion aka Crescent City

I had read some of the ACOTAR series by Sarah J. Maas before I read the first Crescent City book, House of Earth and Blood, so I was familiar with her writing. But when I read CC, I was surprised because I liked it so much better.

I later learned the SJM tagged the Crescent City series as New Adult or NA rather than YA which is what A Court of Thorns and Roses was initially classified as. And I do not know if that is a publisher or author decision, but it seemed to be a better choice to me.

Don't get me wrong! I love YA, but sometimes I want it to be more adult. And I think themes of domestic violence need to be handled carefully and maybe not in a YA context the way it was done in ACOTAR.

Anyway, I was inspired by all of her books in the creative sense to make designs and release collections. I have tons of ideas, and what is even better is that I am officially licensed by SJM and her publisher so I can use copyright phrases and depictions! This design of the photo featured here will be coming out soon!

We currently have two SJM themed collections including Starborn and The Summer Court (leaves 9/20), and on 9/22 we will release The Autumn Court. You can also find SJM characters in the Fictional Lovers collection which has minimalistic designs inspired by all of our favorite fictional characters. There is both SJM and non-SJM related characters in that collection.

We hope you love them!
